Advanced diesel technology makes the high power 2.2 litre D-4D 180 engines the most responsive Toyota diesel model to date. It features refined common rail technology with a variable nozzle turbocharger to boost power and torque. The 177 DIN hp engine offers an incredible 400 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in 8.6 seconds and reaching a top speed of 131 mph. Teamed with a responsive 6-speed manual transmission, this diesel is poised to make any journey exciting.

If you want to strike a balance between maximum performance and efficiency, you’ll like the D-4D 90 and the newly developed D-4D 130 diesel engines.

Common rail direct injection adjusts pressure, timing and volume as you drive, injecting finely atomised fuel at high pressure into the combustion chamber for the best performance. The newly developed 2.0 litre D-4D 130 unit is yet another example of sophisticated Toyota diesel technology. The 126 DIN hp engine boasts an impressive 300 Nm maximum torque, taking it 0 to 62 mph in 10.4 seconds and comes with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard.

The 1.4 litre D-4D 90 engine delivers 90 DIN hp and a maximum torque of 130 Nm, taking this car from 0 to 62 mph in 13.8 seconds. You can choose between 5-speed manual and the new 5-speed Multimode transmission.
